Smithton Primary School have won an amazing $5000 by being voted School of the Year.
“We certainly could have gone with flashy new play equipment, or built a fancy golden statue of Mr Smith, but the way I see it, our school is going well, and our kids are enjoying being here, so we don’t need any more entertainment. We’ve got the school in a place where it is calm and settled, so let’s continue building on the academics.”
