Isis “Ice’ Young has arrived in the Circular Head region as she suits up for the Tall Timbers Smithton Saints in the 2023 North West Basketball Union competition. Hailing from Berlin, New Jersey, Young has compiled an accomplished resume in her 26 years before arriving in Smithton.

“New Jersey is one of the smallest states in the United States,” she said.

“We’re close to Philadelphia and our Eagles are in the Superbowl next week which is a big deal.”

Young attended elementary school around 20 minutes from her hometown of Berlin, before attending Trenton Catholic Academy during her high school years where the school won two basketball state championships. Her final year of high school was at Life Centre Academy.
