Former Circular Head residents, and Circular Head Wall of Famers Jennifer Gale and Darren Hine have been honoured for “Outstanding public service during the COVID-19 pandemic”. The ceremony, which took place on Thursday September 8, was hosted by Governor of Tasmania, Honourable Barbara Baker AC, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers AO. Ms Gale was awarded the Public Service Medal (PSM) during the event. She “has demonstrated an exemplary leadership and made an extraordinary contribution to keeping Tasmanians safe from COVID-19”.
