Saputo Dairy Australia (SDA) is pleased to announce a funding partnership with Agritas and its brand new Duck River Meadows Dairy, located right here in Smithton. With $10,000 support provided through SDA’s Building Strong Communities program, Agritas is offering the region’s primary and secondary school children a real-time dairy experience at Duck River Meadows Dairy through its school visitation program.

Funding support will also see the facility open its doors through free open days, with the first to be held on Saturday November 12. Running in conjunction with the Stanley and Tarkine Forage Festival, community members are invited to come along to see cows being milked at the Robotic Dairy, as well as visit the museum and taste the local artisan cheese.
