The Smithton Saints Basketball Club have acknowledged the service and commitment of club legend Sally Elliott by awarding her Life Membership at their Cocktail and Presentation evening at Tall Timbers on Friday night. Her relationship with the basketball club began in the Saints inaugural NWBU season in 1984, where she played 47 games up until 1986. She was a fierce supporter of local basketball, playing in the local roster for a number of years before taking on the role of senior co-ordinator.
