Pavilion finally launched

Circular Head Heritage Centre President Patrick Bakes said that the CHHC committee were glad to be utilising the new space, and commended Elayne Blake for her commitment and organisation throughout the transition from the Nelson Street location.

Artefacts from the old site were packed up over the course of three months, with five truckloads and five trailer loads as well as garden implements all making the move over a matter of weeks.

Heritage Centre Secretary Elayne says that the move couldn’t have happened without the support of the CHHC’s many volunteers.

“We have had a lot of help from across the community to get the move finished and we are extremely grateful for all the support we received,” she said.
