The Circular Head Boxing Club headed to the Corner Inlet Boxing Club in Leongatha on the weekend, with three boxers competing the Corner Inlet Cup 5, Regional Boxing Series, after a number of minor setbacks at local level.

Jotham Saward, Tyler Collins, and Zeik Naughton faced each their opponents in 3x2 minute rounds, with Saward competing in the 75kg Youth Division, Collins in the 60kg Youth Division, and Naughton in the 92kg Elite Division.

Saward’s first ever fight saw him come up against a much taller Victorian opponent, Josh Bogdanoski, and came away with a split decision victory.
