As part of International Women’s Day, Soroptimist International of Circular Head will be celebrating by acknowledging those women who inspire others by their contribution to our local community.

Every year in March Soroptimist hold their event to coincide with the day, however this year due to  Covid 19 it has been postponed by three months.

The aim of these awards is to recognise women of any age who quietly contribute to our community in some way.

“We are not necessarily looking for the person who performs the most community service or who fills the high profile roles,” Soroptimist Lynne Bramich said.
