For over 50 years, the Smithton Senior Citizen’s Club has served the community, putting on events and social gatherings for the town's elderly.

The club has recently struggled for numbers and enthusiasm, with pandemic restrictions taking the wind out of the sails for many club members.

Coral Blake, a long time committee member, would like to help return the club's membership to its former glory.

“I was introduced to the senior citizens club in the early days when the club had changed from a 60 and over club to Senior Citizens, as a guest artist at their birthday celebrations when they met at the old bowls club. The membership was over 100,” Coral said.
