Surfers from all over Tasmania were warmly welcomed to the West Coast by outrageous surf and warm weather for the 47th annual West Coast Classic.

The competition, which is one of the premiere events on the Surf Tasmania calendar, was supported with one of the deepest fields in the competition’s history.

“The West Coast delivered this weekend,” Event Organiser Glenn Saltmarsh said of the competition.

“It’s one of the biggest weekends we’ve had for awhile.”
