Last chance for Bec

At the age of 22, Rebecca Krushka was officially diagnosed with relapsing remitting Multiple Sclerosis. She had travelled to Hobart to see her Neurologist for her results  after having extensive brain and spine scans. When the Doctor asked her to sit down, her heart sunk.

The neurologist told Bec that she had been living with undiagnosed relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis for three years. She has now deteriorated to secondary progressive in 2020. Her brain was rife with grey matter brain lesions and the damage was immense, and only going to get worse.

“I went into shock, I didn’t really know how to digest it all,” she said.
