Rolling the dice for Shayla

When Shayla Herman was 20 years old her kidneys failed. For four years she did at home dialysis, [peritoneal dialysis] and when that failed she was flown by emergency air ambulance to Launceston General Hospital from Smithton suffering from heart failure and fluid overload. Shayla was essentially drowning from the inside out. 

Local Smithton men Brett Marthick and Hobie Rutter have organised a Tarkine Dice Run to be held on December 18 with all funds raised to assist Shayla and Chad with their ongoing medical and travel expenses.
