Infrastructure. At the Circular Head Council monthly meeting last Thursday, a motion was carried unanimously to amend the 2017-18 budget.
The agenda item included an adjustment for works on Blackwood and Partridge roads at Togari which were estimated to cost $590,000 but amended to $500,000.
The budget now includes $86,000 to reseal a section of South Road, Edith Creek from Trowutta Road junction travelling east for approximately four kilometres as well as $96,000 to reseal a section of Montagu Road, between Bolduans and Cuba roads at Scopus.
An amount of $64,000 was removed from the budget due to its accidental inclusion. The money was flagged for a reseal of Woolnorth Road which was completed last year.
Overall the net impact on the budget will increase by $28,000.
The council originally adopted the 2017-18 Annual Plan and Budget Estimates in June this year.
