Open. The 2016 Employer of Choice Awards are now open for nominations, recognising Tasmanian organisations that successfully attract and retain skilled staff by creating enjoyable workplaces.
Minister for State Growth Matthew Groom launched the awards last week, saying they are a great example of how government, businesses and the community can work together to create opportunities for all Tasmanians.
The awards recognise businesses who demonstrate contemporary workplace practices and providing outstanding support for their staff.
Since starting in 2006, Tasmania has recognised close to 70 Employers of Choice for demonstrating contemporary workplace practices and providing outstanding support for the 13,000 staff they collectively employ.
Entries for the 2016 Employer of Choice Awards close on Thursday December 10, with winners announced in mid-2016. For more information visit www.skills.tas.gov.au/eoc.
