Women play with purpose

TWLNW. The Circular Head Giants secured a 40 point victory against Devonport during round 10 of the Tasmania Women’s League North West season on Saturday.

Following a three week break, the women were raring to go in the muddy and slippery conditions.

Midfielders Taylor Grey, Caicie Keogh and Sarah Fisher showed strength and purpose in delivering the ball to Paige Ferguson and Tess House waiting on the forwardline while Brittany Murray and Emma Ling staunchly defended.

As Ferguson (three), House (two), Murray and Alana Jago secured goals throughout the four quarters the Giants ran out victorious, 1.5.11 to 7.9.51.

The Circular Head Giants will next play this Saturday (August 5) in Smithton against Penguin from 4.30pm.
