Soccer. There were smiles all round during the term four school soccer Grand Final last week.

Held at St Peter Chanel Catholic School every Wednesday, the seven-week competition saw Forest and Edith Creek primary schools, Circular Head Christian School and the host school enter eight teams into the roster.

Students in grades three to six participated side by side each week, with friendly rivalry shared amongst players and coaches alike.

The long-awaited premiership match followed a final round of rostered games last Wednesday where three sides contested for a place alongside ladder leaders CHCS Blue in the Grand Final.

All three sides secured victories during these final games although ultimately Combined Allstars (Forest and Stanley) claimed the premiership place with a higher margin than their opponents.

In a thrilling game to watch, the soccer stars displayed their talents with spectacular shots and many close saves. Ultimately, CHCS Blue earned the premiership title with a one goal victory.
