Event. The inaugural Where’s Your Head At? initiative is campaigning for locals to chat about mental health.

Creating conversations and awareness around mental health and suicide is the aim of the upcoming event, set to coincide with Mental Health Month in October.

Where’s Your Head At? will launch at a breakfast hosted by Circular Head Council followed by various events open to the public, including guest speakers at Emmerton Park, Smithton High School and Circular Head Christian School and a concluding event at Trawmanna on Friday October 26.

The project is presented in collaboration with Circular Head Council, Rural Health Tasmania, Seven Up Youth Centre and Circular Head Aboriginal Corporation.

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s Smithton branch has contributed $10,000 in support of the  initiative. All funds raised from the event will support mental health services in the region.
