Time for flu vaccinations

Health. The flu vaccine is now available ahead of the winter flu season.

The vaccine is free to protect those Tasmanians at greater risk of severe complications of influenza, including anyone aged 65 and over, Indigenous people and pregnant women.

It is also free for adults and children six months of age or older who have chronic medical conditions, such as heart, lung or kidney diseases, diabetes, cancers, impaired immunity and neuromuscular conditions.
