Staff at Tall Timbers Tasmania earn a pat on the back for two awards in the 2018 Tasmanian Hospitality Association Awards for Excellence.

Accolade. Another awards ceremony, another opportunity for local success.

Tall Timbers Tasmania has earned two mentions at the 2018 Tasmanian Hospitality Association Awards for Excellence.

Starting the night by winning Best Marketed Establishment, Tall Timbers then went on to win the award in the Best Sports Bar category.

Tall Timbers was also a finalist in another four categories, including making the top three of 34 in the Best Casual Dining.

General manager John Dabner said this a testament to the hard work and dedication the team put in, and the standards the business holds towards customer satisfaction.

“The hospitality landscape is changing rapidly in Tasmania, and our customers have higher expectations of the quality of product and service being offered.”

Mr Dabner said although the local establishment had been successful over the years, there was no room for complacency. He praised the high calibre of competition that entered the judging process this year.

The industry gala dinner was held at Wrest Point in Hobart celebrating excellence in hospitality.
