Talks. Renowned family psychologist and public speaker Steve Biddulph will return to the region in October to give talks he was forced to cancel when he was cut off by floods in June.
Presented by Rural Health Tasmania, the first of the talks will be held at Stanley Town Hall on Tuesday October 11 from 6.45pm.
‘“Happy” Families’ will see Steve talk about raising children and teenagers using ‘soft’ and ‘firm’ love. Other topics covered include an understanding of parenting styles, discipline, and helping your family to slow down and be more connected.
The following evening (Wednesday October 12), a men’s only talk on ‘Manhood’ will be held at the Circular Head Community and Recreation Centre from 6.45pm.
Based on his bestselling book by the same name, Steve will discuss what it means to be a whole man and how to make life more happy and free.
Steve uses humour, honesty and powerful stories to reach men and inspire them to be happier and more emotionally well.
Both evenings are free, and open to anyone over 16 years of age. To book, phone 6452 1266 or just show up at the door on the night.
