Gov’t. Draft legislation for the Tasmanian Planning Scheme – a single statewide planning scheme that will replace the current patchwork arrangement of 29 different schemes – has been released for consultation.
The proposed legislation provides the framework for the new planning rules which will apply across the state.
Minister for Planning and Local Government Peter Gutwein is encouraging interested locals to view the document and provide feedback before Monday August 10.
