Social support

Leisure. The Social Leisure Inclusion Program has reached Circular Head offering a fun, new calendar of events.

SLIP is designed to assist with establishing individual sustainable social networks, whilst having fun and experiencing new opportunities, activities and environments within the local community.

These programs are for people living with a disability, of all ages.

The calendar of events includes games or movie nights, drama group, outings for wilderness photography and a picnic, and social dinners.

SLIP is an initiative of ARC (Assistance, Rehabilitation, Care) Support Services.

The aim of the groups is to build capacity for individuals to develop and enhance their social relationships and networks.

Specific programs can be developed and tailored to meet individual or group needs.

There is a cost involved to the activities, to cover the support worker.
