Fundraiser. Beware! For an eerie event will take place tomorrow night.

As the Circular Head Pony Club prepares to host the Pony Club Association of Tasmania State Trials in 2019, the club is putting on a spooky spectacular.

At the State Trials, Circular Head will host clubs from across the Tasmania for three days of competition including cross country, show jumping and dressage events.

Coinciding with Halloween on Tuesday October 31, the Friday night event will raise money to replace club equipment dating back to the ’70s.

“This is part of the club’s ongoing effort to raise money for vital new equipment so the club can continue the valuable role of equine education to its members,” says club member Catherine Mackie.

“As well as to be able to continue holding competitions as part of the Pony Club Association of Tasmania programs and events held around the state.”

With an aim of raising $10,000 to update equipment, facilities and provide for judges, the club is calling on community members to support a variety of events set to be held in the coming months.

The Halloween evening will see families enjoy games, face painting, a lucky door and raffle prizes as well as a prize for the best dressed. Cost is $5 per person or $10 for a family.

Circular Head Pony Club will host a spooky spectacular tomorrow night (Friday October 27) from 6pm at the club rooms on Montagu Road, Smithton. For more information contact Catherine Mackie 0458 758 075.
