Not too bad Nicholls, Anderson

O/50. The Marrawah 50 and Over Cricket Club can attribute the fine play of Ronald and Haydn Nicholls and Bevan Anderson to the side’s victory last Sunday.

Facing Hobart-based side, the Thylacians in Spreyton, Marrawah’s opposition batted first to record 138 runs from 40 overs. Ronald Nicholls kept the score to a minimum with his impressive figures of four wickets for 29 runs.

Following lunch, Haydn Nicholls (43 retired) and Bevan Anderson (42 retired) saw the side to victory within 25 overs assisted by a notable performance by Phillip Wilson (17).

Marrawah will travel to Richmond this weekend for their final game of the season.
