Not luck for Irishtown

CHFA. Round ten of the Circular Head Football Association saw the top two teams go head-to-head while the battle for third spot remains open.

Spectators were treated to a close one when Irishtown travelled to Redpa on Saturday. In a fast paced, intense match, the Red Legs finally prevailed by a solitary point.

Redpa’s Steven Armstrong was given the big task of containing Irishtown super boot Daniel Littlejohn. Armstrong stuck to his opponent like glue, spoiling time and again to leave Littlejohn scoreless for the entire match.

At Forest it was the Demons who took a 26-point win and third place by percentage on the ladder over TC Bulldogs. Forest Stanley’s Lucas Mohell was in great form on the forward line bagging himself four goals after already kicking four in the under-17 match. Nathan Tonks, Lincoln Jackson and Tyler Kadow all chipped in with two goals apiece.

Kade Fraser was amongst the best for the Bulldogs as were dual goal kickers Jo Brown and Wayne Dixon.
