Marrawah’s season concludes

O/50. The Marrawah 50 and Over Cricket Club travelled to Richmond on Sunday to play a Richmond-Campania side and conclude the season. 

Fielding first on a drizzly and damp morning, Marrawah dropped nine catches throughout the first innings however with the assistance of Brett McMullen (3/28) caught the opposition all out for 199 in 39 overs.

The weather improved throughout the second innings, allowing for McMullen (40 runs retired) to pave the way to a total of 178 runs. The improved conditions favoured Richmond-Campania for a 21-run victory.

The Marrawah 50 and Over Cricket Club will celebrate the end of the season with their annual dinner in Stanley on Friday April 28.
