Pool. Circular Head Council has reached the halfway mark on consultation surrounding plans for the Circular Head Aquatic Leisure Centre, with less than 20 people responding to date.
Mayor Daryl Quilliam encouraged the public to have their say on the plans.
“So far Council has received some feedback on the designs, but it would be encouraging to hear more from the community about what they think about the proposal,” Cr Quilliam said.
“Considering how many people have aired opinions on the subject, whether in Council meetings or otherwise, I would like to urge people to make their views known to Council.”
The mayor said while the plans would only go ahead with Government assistance, getting such a facility would also depend on the support of the people.
“Throughout the process Council has offered a number of opportunities for people to have their say on these proposals, so it’s definitely worth taking the time to take a look,” Cr Quilliam said.
