Health. Parents are welcome to attend a ‘Kid’s Drop In Clinic’ in Smithton today (Thursday February 18) to discuss any concerns about their child’s development with a health professional.
Concerns can be discussed with a physiotherapist, podiatrist, or psychologist and speech pathologist for children aged from birth to five, as well as an autism spectrum disorder support worker.
No referrals are necessary.
The Department of Health and Human Services initiative will see the clinic travel to Smithton from the North West Regional Hospital and other health practices again on Thursday May 19, Thursday August 18 and Thursday November 17.
The Kid’s Drop In Clinic will be open on Thursday February 18 at Smithton District Hospital’s Community Room, from 1 to 2.30pm.
