The Club Championships began midway through the month where Trevor Bryant, Rodney O’Halloran and Tom O’Halloran were set to play Graham Horne, Donald Ralston and Tony Fisher in the triples action.

In the Bowls North West Association pairs games, players Aaron Amos and James Butler featured in the open division, up against hot competition.

On Saturday December 9, Division Two were challenged by ladder leaders Wynyard especially with the unavailability of many players. Fortunately, the Division Five side had a bye and stepped in to perform well although no victories were recorded.
