Everybody’s Favourite Meatballs


500 grams mince

1 cup soft breadcrumbs

½ packet french onion soup mix

1 egg

½ cup grated cheese

1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons tomato sauce


Grated carrot (optional)

For the sauce

1 large can tomato soup

1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

¾ cup milk



Meatballs: Mix ingredients together and roll into small balls. Cook in moderate oven 15 minutes then place in casserole dish. Meanwhile heat the tomato soup, worcestershire sauce and milk to make the sauce. Cover the dish with sauce and cook a further 20 minutes. Serve with your favourite mash, pasta or fresh bread.
