Greys pave the way

O/50. The Marrawah 50 and Over Cricket Club’s Brett McMullen claimed a classy three wickets for 20 runs during the side’s encounter with the Rovers in Ulverstone on Sunday.

Batting first, the Rovers finished with 191 runs before Marrawah stood before the stumps. With the assistance of Bruce Grey retiring at 41 runs and Guy Grey retiring with 40, the side reached their target within 30 overs to return home victors.

Marrawah will travel to Spreyton to verse Hobart-based side the Thylacians this Sunday, leaving Smithton from 8.30am.
