NWFL. Greenham Tasmania Circular Head Giants came away with a win against Devonport in the weekend’s North West Football League Seniors clash on Saturday.
Playing in Devonport, it was Nathan Bransden’s five majors that did the most damage on the scoreboard followed by Toby Reeve’s and Guy Kearnes’ two goals each. Kalon House, Mark Kearnes, Tyrone Morrison and Tyson Armstrong also contributed with one apiece.
In the Reserves, Damien Medwin booted 10 goals that helped the Giants along to their 161 point victory in which the Magpies managed only one goal.
The results were reversed in the other divisions with Devonport defeating the Giants Women by 114 points, and the Under 18 side 17.11.113 to 0.2.2.
In the next round of the North West Football League, Circular Head will travel to take on Wynyard this Saturday (July 28) where Bransden will play his 300th club game.
