Award. Think Water Smithton has been named

It is a timely accolade for owners Conrad Odgers and Jodie Wainwright who this year mark five years in the Think Water group.

Attending the Think Water Annual Conference in Alice Springs, Northern Territory last week the local business was presented with the honour at the Doubletree Hotel on Thursday.

“It came as a real shock,” says Conrad, while Jodie was just speechless.

“I was stuck for words! After Conrad said his bit he gave me the microphone and I couldn’t say anything – which will surprise some – but I was just so shocked.”

Following the theme ‘Honouring the Past, Shaping the Future’, the annual conference was a chance to reflect on the past decade in business, says national general manager Tony France.

Established in 2007, Think Water now has 44 stores across Australia and New Zealand.

“The Smithton team excelled in great customer service and pumping out irrigation knowledge,” Tony says.

“Their desire to go the extra mile really stood out above the rest.”

Meeting with guest speakers and suppliers throughout the week, Conrad and Jodie say they have returned with renewed ambitions.

Since taking over the Nelson Street business five years ago, the couple have expanded the retail space, upgraded vehicles and further embraced the company brand.

Priding themselves on customer satisfaction, Conrad and Jodie thanked their staff for upholding such standards, and their loyal customers.
