Determined play in Division Two

CHHA. Round 13 of the Circular Head Hockey Association roster was a passionate affair.

In the first game of the day for Division Two, Robins and Irishtown met with the latter missing a few star players. The first half of the game was even, with Robins going into the half time break with a one goal lead.

In the second half Robins’ Jandi Smith played well on the backline as Irishtown stepped it up with their forwards combining well and scoring three more goals, to finish 5-2.

In the afternoon, Mustangs and Tigers both came out with even determination, keeping play tight. Mustangs floundered towards half time however soon found their mojo though it was not enough as the Tigers took the 8-1 win.

In Div Three, Irishtown and Mustangs finished proceedings with a 1-1 draw.

This weekend’s games will see Mustangs and Irishtown meet on Friday night in Div Two while Robins face Tigers on Saturday. In Div Three, Irishtown and Mustangs will first meet and then Mustangs return for their second game of the day against Tigers.
