Tree felling accident

Tragedy. A Smithton man has tragically died after being struck by a branch whilst felling a tree on private property at Cuba Road on Sunday. The 61-year-old had been working with another person, who was uninjured, when the accident occurred about 2.30pm. Tasmania Police, Tasmania Ambulance Service and SES units attended the scene.
