Under 13. The Circular Head Colts has completed the Cricket North West season undefeated.

Registering 12 clear victories throughout the 14 round roster, the side faulted with one forfeit and one wash out.

At the start of the year coach Nic Bellinger challenged the team to be the best fielding side in the competition. Throughout the year, the young Colts were consistent in fielding and bowling, registering the fewest conceded extras, and as a batting unit set the benchmark for running between the wickets.

The side has played consistently as a team and continued to improve on personal efforts across the season.

Meeting with the Sheffield Mountaineers on Sunday February 18, Circular Head stood at the crease in the first innings as Cooper Mallinson (38 not out), Eli Bellinger (33 not out), Jonah Evans (22 not out), Rylee Popowski (22), Kade Hardy (12) and Jotham Saward (10) worked the team towards their 4/190 total in 30 overs.

The Colts made easy work of their opponents in the second innings preventing the side from reaching the target and claiming a more than 100 run win as the Sheffield Mountaineers made 6/83.

In their last game of the season, the Circular Head Colts met with Burnie Hurricanes Grey at Acton.

Bowling first, the visiting side held the opposition to 89 runs within 28.4 overs as Solomon Tuxworth (3/12) topped the bowling statistics supported by Saward (1/2), Popowski (1/5), Eli Arnold (1/5) and Evans (1/7).

In the second innings, Saward (29) carried the side in the opening innings before Mallinson (23 retired), Tuxworth (15 retired), Innes-Smith (not out) and Evans (10) added to the winning total of 5/148 from 30 overs to secure the final victory of the season for the Circular Head Colts.

The Under 13 competition is played for player development and there are no official ladders kept.
