Tuning. Free-to-air television channel frequencies across Australia are undergoing a reshuffle in the final step of moving to digital-only services.
Residents will need to retune their digital TV, set-top box or digital TV recorder on or after the date that their relevant TV tower makes the switch.
Smithton’s retune date is set for September 10, while those closer to a TV tower in Lileah will need to retune their frequencies on September 18.
Between 9am and 3.30pm on September 10, 11 and 16, works may be undertaken on both services, where disruptions may occur to certain channels.
