Cafe chats

Carers. Cafe Chats for Carers provides an opportunity for locals needing advice or support in their role as a carer to meet with Family Based Care counsellor Bonnie Murfet.

Over a cuppa, chat to Bonnie about your personal situation and connect with local services as needed.

It is available to those who provide unpaid care for a family member or friend who has a disability, mental health issue or who is aged.

Cafe Chats will be in Smithton and Stanley on this Saturday (April 14), at Sadies Takeaway and Cafe at 9am and The Swinging Anchor Cafe at 11am.

Bonnie and her team are also currently organising an ARRTS Expo, Art for Respite and Resilience Skills, for carers and care recipients in the north west. This program runs over 12 weeks, beginning this month, whereby participants will experience a range of art mediums resulting in an expo open to the community.

To find out more phone Bonnie Murfet on 0474 347 720 or visit www.facebook.com/cafechatscarersupport/.
