Cable Station upgrade

Grants. Stanley’s Cable Station will use $55,000 of grant money for kitchen and accommodation upgrades.

The improvements include a refit of the commercial kitchen to increase the capacity of the restaurant and support the hosting of larger-scale events.

Accommodation upgrades will look to meet the needs of higher yield and international visitors.

The grants comes as part of the final round of the Australian Government’s T-QUAL Grants.

The Cradle Coast Authority was also successful in securing over $21,000 for the construction of interpretive trail and roadside signs to promote the Cradle to Coast Tasting Trail.

The project will enable visitors to identify and locate high quality food and beverage tourism experiences in the Cradle Coast region.

In Circular Head, the signs will direct visitors to Tall Timbers and to the Cable Station.
