Building local enterprises

Grants. The state government is offering $200,000 in funding to Circular Head businesses.

An initiative of the newly created Circular Head Regional Economic Development Working Group, in response to the closure of the Murray Goulburn plant at Edith Creek, the program is aimed at fast tracking regional economic development.

The Circular Head New Markets Access Program is designed to support local enterprises to explore and seek new opportunities and markets, both interstate and internationally.

Assistance is available to eligible business enterprises that can demonstrate they can offer employment opportunities for displaced workers. To be considered for support, enterprises must also have a sales turnover in excess of $100,000.
