Briant Park racing spectacular 

Karts. Tasmania will host the 16th biennial ‘Australian Masters Games’ this time next year, with karting events to be held in Circular Head.

A variety of sporting events will be held on the north-west coast with more than 6000 athletes expected to attend.

Circular Head will host the karting events at Briant Park for the week-long series taking place from October 21-28.

The games were last held in Tasmania in 1987, for the tournament’s inaugural year in Hobart.

Of the 40-plus sports featured in the games, none have qualifying standards other than meeting the age requirement of 30 years or more.
