Tourism. The Cradle Coast Authority is inviting local tourist operators to showcase their businesses in a search for the north west and west coast’s best assets.
The 2014 Win Television Cradle Coast Tourism Awards reward operators and individuals who demonstrate excellence in the tourism industry, providing an opportunity “to raise profile and reputation” while also acting as a useful self-assessment process.
Cradle Coast Tourism executive chairman Rod Stendrup emphasised the importance of the awards in acknowledging local businesses for their efforts.
“Entering the awards is a very worthwhile exercise for any tourism business,” he said.
“In their five year history, the awards have helped raise the profile of the region’s tourism operators in state and national tourism competitions.”
“In 2010, our region won one award at state level – last year we won nine.”
Entries are now open in 24 categories until May 26 and will be assessed by an independent judging panel, with winners announced on July 10 as part of the Cradle Coast’s Regional Tourism Forum.
