Applications open for Mayor’s Education Fund Bursary

Bursary. Circular Head students ready to take on tertiary studies, but needing financial assistance, are able to apply for the Mayor’s Bursary.

The Mayor’s Education Fund Bursary is a $5000 contribution awarded each year to an applicant who is able to demonstrate that they would find it difficult to access further education without the funding support. It is preferable that the course is relevant to the district.

Soroptimist International of Circular Head also provides a scholarship to the value of $2000 to assist a female student with tertiary studies.

Applications for the Mayor’s Bursary close on Monday January 6.
